Our president and founder, Lorne Solish, fresh from years of successful food and retail merchandising, had been on the lookout for a new food concept. Surprise, surprise - a visit to an annual fair provided it.

His first smell of a freshly made hot waffle and ice cream sandwich tantalized him. The taste hooked him!

From that point to this it's been a determined, dedicated journey.

First, the question had to be resolved - can this become a successful business? Yes! Second, what things had to be researched, developed and put in place to make the Waffle World concept work? Third - who would be the customers and how could they be reached? And so our journey began.
